    • Environment:

Runs DCOS 1.8.7 in AWS using Centos7. 3 Master instance.

      Description

Using a VIP to access a service and found that I had bad entries in the VIP.    I have three entries for servers that no longer exist.   I am not quite sure when they got stuck in there.    In an attempt to get rid of the bad entries I destroyed the service.    The bad entries remained even though I no longer had anything deployed using the vip.

What I am running is a basic docker container in BRIDGE mode.   I killed all instances of the task and the following still works:

To Determine what the VIP had I did the following:

      1)  dig myappname.marathon.l4lb.thisdcos.directory

      ;; ANSWER SECTION:

      myappname.marathon.l4lb.thisdcos.directory. 5 IN A 11.212.68.89

      2) docs node ssh --master-proxy --leader

      curl localhost:61421/vips

Output attached.   Basically there are 3 entries but no service running.   Also the hosts in the group do not exist.   I have not been able to get rid of them.
