      Description

In DC/OS 1.12, dcos-dns subscribes to mesos operator streaming api and pushes updates for dns zones to lashup every second. Previously, it pushed updates every 30-60 seconds.

The new behavior causes lashup performance degradation. On big clusters, dcos-net nodes receive the updates with 5-minute (or more) delay.

The workaround is reducing the DNS updates that are sent out from the leader node:

      /opt/mesosphere/bin/dcos-net-env remote_console 'application:set_env(dcos_dns, push_ops_timeout, 5000).'
